Transformation of sentences Simple –Complex – Compound

 

1. SIMPLE                      COMPLEX                               COMPOUND

V-ing                          When/As/Since                    And [Same Subject]

যদি Simple Sentence এর শুরুতে V-ing থাকে তাহলে সেই বাক্যটিকে Complex Sentence এ রুপান্তর করার সময় When/As/Since এর সাহায্য নেওয়া হয়।

আবার সেই Simple Sentence  Complex Sentence টিকে Compound  Sentence এ রুপান্তর করার সময় “And” এর সাহায্য নেওয়া হয় এবং বাক্যগুলোর Subject একই থাকে।

Simple: Going to market, Gopal bought a new book.

Complex: When/as/since Gopal went to market, he bought a new book.

Or

Gopal bought a new book when/as/since he went to market.

Compound: Gopal went to market and bought a new book.

উদাহরণটিতে লক্ষ্য করে দেখো যে Simple sentence টি শুরু হয়েছে V-ing দিয়ে। তাই Complex Sentence এ রূপান্তর করার সময় “When/ As/ Since” এর সাহায্যে  Compound Sentence এ রূপান্তর করা হয়েছে।

নিচে আরও উদাহরণ দেওয়া হয়েছে ভালো করে লক্ষ্য করলে আশাকরি খুব সহজে বিষয়টি বুঝেতে পারবে।

Example of Transformation of sentences Simple –Complex – Compound

Simple: Coming home, he began to study.

Complex: When/As/Since he came, he began to study.

Compound: He came home and began to study.

Simple: Being late, the student refused to enter the school.

Complex: When/As/Since the student was late, he refused to enter the school.

 

Compound: He was late and refused to enter the school.

Simple: Being confused, my brother called me.

Complex: When/As/Since my brother was confused, he called me.

Compound:  My brother was confused and called me.

 

Simple: Standing on the roof, he watched the river.

Complex: When/As/Since he stood on the roof, he watched the river.

Compound: He stood on the roof and watched the river.

 

Simple: Being ill, he could not attend the meeting.

Complex: When/ As/ Since he was ill, he could not attend the meeting.

Compound: He was ill and he could not attend the meeting.

Simple: Finishing her dinner, she went to bed.

Complex: When/ as/ since she finished her dinner, she went to bed.

Compound: She finished her dinner and went to bed.

Joining of sentences Using Adverb ‘Too’ in Bangla

Using Adverb ‘Too’

যে সব বাক্যের মধ্যে “Very” শব্দটি পাবে এবং পরের বাক্যটিতে “Can not/ Could not” থাকবে সেই বাক্য দুটিকে “Too” Adverb এর সাহায্যে Joining করা যাবে। তবে বাক্য দুটির কর্তা একই হতে হবে।

Joining করার নিয়মঃ

“Very” এর পরিবর্তে “Too” বসবে দ্বিতীয় বাক্যের “Subject +can not/ could not” এর পরিবর্তে “To” বসবে।

#The old man was very tired. He could not go for.

  The old man was too tired to go for.

উদাহরণটি লক্ষ্য করে দেখো প্রথম বাক্যটিতে “Very” শব্দটি আছে আর দ্বিতীয় বাক্যটিতে “Subject + could not ” আছে। তাই  “Very” এর পরিবর্তে “Too” আর “Subject + could not ” এর পরিবর্তে “To” বসানো হয়েছে।

More Examples:

# My mother is very honest. She can not tell a lie.

  My mother is too honest to tell a lie.

# Rahim is very weak in math. He can not do the sum.

  Rahim is too weak in math to do  the sum.

# The boy is very little. He can not climb up the tree.

  The boy is too little to climb up the tree.   

# This boy is very bad. He is can not be honest.

  This boy is too bad to be honest.

USING ADVERB

সাধারণত “VERB” কে “কেমন” দিয়ে প্রশ্ন করলে যে উত্তর পাওয়া যায় সেটা ADVERB 

আর সেই  Adverb কে একটি বাক্যের মধ্যে  সঠিক স্থানে বসিয়ে Joining করা হয়।

# The horse is running. It is running fast.

  The horse is running fast. 

#I could not pass the exam. It was unfortunate.

  Unfortunately I could not pass the exam.

# Rambabu is an honest. There is no doubt.

  Undoubtedly Rambabu is an honest man.

# He spent all his money. That was foolish.

  He spent foolishly all his money.

# He neglected his studies. This is deliberate.

  Deliberately he neglected his studies.

# The train is late. That is usual.

The train is usually late.

Joining Using Adjective in Bengali

 

USING ADJECTIVE

Noun Pronoun কে “কেমন” দিয়ে প্রশ্ন করলে যে উত্তর পাওয়া যায় সেটা “ADJECTIVE”আর সেই  Adjective কে একটি বাক্যের মধ্যে  সঠিক স্থানে বসিয়ে Joining করা হয়।

# I have a cow. It is black.

  I have a black cow.

উদাহরণটিতে একটি নাউন আছে “COW” আর এই নাউনটাকে “কেমন” দিয়ে প্রশ্ন করলে “Black” উত্তর হিসাবে পাবে। আর এটাই হল Adjectiveএটাকে একটা বাক্যের মধ্যে সঠিক স্থানে বসিয়ে Joining করা হয়েছে।

# He has lost his watch. It was a costly watch.

He has lost his costly watch.

# She painted a picture. It was extremely beautiful.

She painted an extremely beautiful picture.

# She told me a story. The story was interesting.

She told me an interesting story.

# We woke up by a noise. The noise was alarming.

   We woke up by an alarming noise.

# They went to a station. It was on a hill.

They went to a hill station.

# I saw a snake. The snake was poisonous.

I saw a poisonous snake.
