Self- introduction format

 Self- introduction format

  •  Good morning. / Good afternoon. / Good evening.
  •  I am নিজের নাম./ This is নিজের নাম./ My name is নিজের নাম.
  •  I live at গ্রামের নাম of English Bazer of Malda district. /I belong to গ্রামের নাম  in Malda.
  • v My father's name is বাবার নাম. He is a পেশার নাম. My mother is a homemaker. I have কয়টা বোন sisters and কয়টা ভাই brother. I am a single child of my parents.
  •  I have passed madhyamik from বিদ্যালয়ের নাম in সাল. /I am studying in class ক্লাসের নাম in বিদ্যালয়ের নাম.
  •  I have done /completed কম্পিউটার কোর্সের নাম from কম্পিউটার সেন্টারের নাম / I am doing কম্পিউটার কোর্সের নাম computer course in কম্পিউটার সেন্টারের নাম.
  •  My hobbies are playing cricket, playing football, reading book, travelling, drawing picture, watching television and so on.
  •  I would like to be a ভবিষ্যতে কী হতে চাও in future. I study very hard to fulfill my aim in life/ ambition. 
  •    That's all.

 

Question type:

§  Introduce yourself.

Good morning everybody. My name is Sujit Karmakar. I live at Kumar pur of English Bazer of Malda district. My father's name is Sripati Karmakar. He is a laborer. My mother is a homemaker. I have a younger brother. I have passed H.S from Jaharatala High School in 2016. Now I am studying in class B.A 1st year in Gour Mahavidyalaya under Gour Banga University. I have done 6 month basic computer course from Gour Banga Computer Literacy. My hobbies are playing cricket, playing foot ball, watching television and so on. I would like to be a bank manager in future. So I study very hard to fulfill my ambition. That's all.

Next Example:

Good morning. / Good afternoon everybody. / Good evening all of you. This is Jaba Ghosh. I belong to Raypur in Malda. My father's name is Dukhu Ghosh. He is no more. My mother is a homemaker. I have three elder sisters and five elder brothers. I have passed madhyamik from Malda Girls High School in 2015. Now I am studying in class Xi in Ram Kingkar Balika Vidyalay. I am doing one year DTP computer course in Jaharlal Computer Literacy. My hobbies are playing racket, reading books and so on. I would like to be a software developer in future. So I study very hard to fulfill my aim in life. That's all.

My mother is a homemaker. I have a younger sister and five an elder brother. I have passed Madhyamik from Madhab Nagar Badal Moni High School in 2014. Now I am studying in class Xii in Madhab Nagar Badal Moni High School. I have done one year DTP computer course from Yuba Computer Literacy. My hobbies are playing cricket, reading story books, making video and etc. I would like to be an actor in future. So I study very hard to fulfill my aim in life. That's all.

My hobbies are cooking, drawing pictures, gardening and etc. I would like to be an artist in future. So I study very hard to fulfill my ambition. That's all.

ENGLISH GRAMMAR CAPITALISATION IN BANGLA

 

Rules of using capitalisation

1. At the beginning of English sentence

We should write the starting letter of the sentence in the capital letter if we want to write any English sentence.

For example:

The bird is flying in the blue sky.

Come here and sit down.

2. All proper nouns

We will write the first letter in the capital of proper noun whenever we will find proper nouns in English sentences.

For example:

Vivekananda, Kolkata, English, Indian.

3. At the beginning of every time of a poem

Whenever we write any poem we always use capital letter at the starting of every line of a poem.

For example:

And miles to go before I sleep. 

And miles to go before I sleep.

4. Pronoun `I’ and interjection `O’

When we use the letters “I” as a pronoun and an “O” as an interjection in a sentence we should write those letters in the capital.

 Example of Cpitalisation:

It is I who has broken the glass. 

You showed me but I could not understand.

O Rose thou art sick.

O Death! Where is the victory?  

5. For nouns and pronouns referring to God.

When we write the word “God” as a noun we use the capital letters of the word. If the word “God” refers to any pronoun, the first letter of the pronoun must be in the capital.

For example:

God always saves His children.

God has His mercy on us.

6. To write language, nations, days, months, and festivals.

If we want to write the name of any language, nations, days, months, and festivals, we must have to write the first letter of those in the capital.

For example:

English, Bengali, Indian, Sunday, March, Durgapuja, Id.

7. Historical period or events.

We use capital letter when we mention and write any historical period or event in English sentence.

For example:

The Second World War, the Quit India movement.

8. The names of books, poems, stories, novels, plays

When we write any name of books, poems, stories, and plays we use a capital letter.

For example:

The Gita, The cloud, The cherry tree, Heart of Darkness, The Bishop’s  Candle Sticks.

More rules of capitalisation 

9. To write abbreviations

We write all letters in the capital at the time of abbreviation.

For example:

B.A, M.A, M.P,P.M

10. To write a direct speech

We use capital letter two times in a direct speech. Firstly we use a capital letter at the beginning of the sentence. Secondly, we write the first letter of the inverted portion.

For example:

I said, “You are my best friend.” 

11. To address in the letter

We address our dear person at the time of letter writing. In this case, we should write a capital letter of the person whom we address.

For example:

My dear Mother/ Father/Brother etc

Dear Sri/ Madam

12. At the beginning  of every word in the postal address 

We should write the capital letter at the starting of every word in the postal address when we will write a postal address on the envelope.

For example:

Mr. Ajay Dutta

S/o Mr. Bijay Dutta

PO: Mokdum pur, Malda- 732103
